University mentoring & lecturing
Creating job ready graduates
For universities and higher education institutions that pride themselves on producing industry ready graduates…
With an increased emphasis on creating students that are ‘job ready’, many universities and institutes of higher education are engaging professional mentors to deliver programs and lectures designed to equip students for life in the corporate environment.
I’ve worked with students undertaking their Masters of Business Information Systems, Masters of Information Technology and Masters of Networks and Security at Monash University.
I mentored students charged with creating a digital solution to solve an identified community need; therefore gaining valuable experience in ideation, customer journeys, UX design, and problem solving using iterative methodologies.
I’m able to provide students with practical industry and knowledge that will help them become job ready.
I also provide guest lectures for students across a broad range of topics that meet the needs for your institution.

Insightful and patient are the words that come to mind when I think about the experience I had working with Janine.
We mentored IT postgrads at Monash University over their 10-week-long projects during their final semester in 2018.
Janine shared her extremely valuable knowledge and insights acquired over the years from the industry in a convincing and easily understandable manner. Even when the students were confused, Janine would patiently explain the same principle in different ways and bring the team onboard.
I would highly recommend Janine for any position that requires excellent communication and mentoring skills. Shan Li - teaching associate at Monash
